Have you ever seen a cashew nut raw or still in its shell? I hadn't. Cashew nuts grow naturally here in Thailand. The owner of the rubber tree plantation bought some cashews still in the shell to roast them. Then we shelled them. I videoed the process for you.
They were really yummy! Our fingers were very black.
The Queen's Gambit by Walter Tevis turned out to be quite educational and entertaining. I feel like I learned a lot about chess, not enough to want to play it, but I do have a renewed respect for it.
I've just started Mr. Dixon Disappears by Ian Sansom. A friend gave it to me in the States saying it's a fun, light story that's very entertaining. I'm just at the part where Mr. Dixon has disappeared and the main character is wrongly accused. The writing style is witty and a bit sarcastic...fun combo.

That's cool. And it's neat to hear you speak thai!
